Persistence of vision
Persistence of vision is when the human eye retains images for a 0.04 of a second. Which mistakes a sequence of frames as a continuous moving picture. However some people believe that the illusion is when the brain thinks that there is movement between the two frames when shown quickly. Also known as the beta movement.
Time lapse!!!
In The Land Of The Northern Lights from Ole C. Salomonsen on Vimeo.
This is a example of Time lapse of northern lights in norway , time lapse is a series of still photos over a period of time . when all the images are stringed together they make it seem like the northern lights are moving etc but just is a series of images.
